Disney's Newest Cruise Ship Arrives In New York
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Fantasy is now a reality.
Disney's newest cruise ship, Fantasy, sailed past the Statue of Liberty on Tuesday morning after departing from Bremerhaven, Germany 13 days ago.
It will be christened in New York City during a nighttime ceremony on Thursday.
Fantasy features 14 towering decks and 1,250 staterooms. The ship can accommodate 4,000 passengers along with 1,450 cast and crew members.

Families can enjoy two Broadway-style stage shows including a 45-minute musical called "Wishes" and a musical comedy based on the hit animated movie "Aladdin."
Parents can take a load off at the ship's entertainment district, Europa, which features night spots inspired by clubs in Italy, France, Ireland and London.
Even though Fantasy is more Art Nouveau in its details, the ship strongly resembles the Dream, its nautical sister that debuted more than a year ago.
Three and four night cruises are available on the Dream.
Fantasy will embark on its maiden voyage on March 31.
It offers seven-night cruises to the western and eastern Caribbean.
