Disabled NJT Train Causes Delays In/Out Of Penn Station
SECAUCUS, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- A disabled train near the Portal Bridge in Secaucus caused delays of NJ TRANSIT trains in and out of Penn Station Monday morning.
A Midtown Direct train was headed into New York when it broke down around 8:30 a.m., officials said.
Trains on the Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast Line and Midtown Direct service in and out of Penn Station all faced delays of up to 45 minutes for much of the morning rush.
Midtown Direct trains were diverted to Hoboken, and PATH honored NJ TRANSIT tickets.
Service had been restored by about 10:45 am.
