Deliberations In Third Day In Temple Bomb Plot

NEW YORK (WCBS 880) - Deliberations are in their third day in the case of four men charged with plotting to bomb two Bronx synagogues and shoot down National Guard planes at Stewart.

LISTEN: WCBS 880's Irene Cornell reports

The defense spent days attacking the FBI's informant, Shahed Hussain, as a liar who used inducements, offers of big money and fancy cars, to lure the four poor, uneducated defendants from Newburgh into a terrorist plot.

While there's no verdict yet, the jury has been focused on the defensive entrapment since the deliberations began.

These are the kind of questions the jury is asking about the top count - conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction.

One jury note says, if it's entrapment, not guilty on count one, does that mean it's entrapment and not guilty on all the other counts?

The jury is struggling with entrapment versus the government argument that the defendants were ready and willing to take part in this plot.
