THE DEFENSE
Q: What's your name, where are we today, and what brought you out?
A: My name is John. This is my BMW C3. My girlfriend's coming into Penn Station and I'm picking her up.
Q: Very nice of you. Can you give me the basics of your beautiful ride?
A: I bought it used. It's a 1993 BMW C3 convertible. It has one-hundred-and-forty-something-thousand miles on it.
Q: Where do you live?
A: I live in New Jersey.
Q: Where did you buy this awesome Beemer?
A: It was like Sports and Exports, something like that. I found it online. I think it was AutoTrader.com or Cars.com, one of those.
Q: What's the main use for your car?
A: It's my main source of transportation.
Q: How much time do you spend in it?
A: I work really close to my house, so it's only about 30-45 minutes per day.
Q: What's your favorite day trip?
A: I go down to Atlantic City a lot. That's always good!
Q: Where's the furthest place you've driven to?
A: I drove to Virginia. That's about the furthest.
Q: Do you have any rules in your car?
A: I bought it used, so you can do pretty much whatever you want to in it.
Q: Do you listen to music in your car?
A: I do. I have an iPhone with like, six days worth of music on it. I listen to a lot of neo swing music, country music, lots of different things.
Q: If your car had a human emotion, what would it be and why?
A: I would say, probably fairly happy.
Q: What's your favorite feature?
A: The top goes down. It's really easy. There are just two latches. I take it down a lot, but it looked like it might rain, but I'll take it down for you guys.
Q: What would your dream car be?
A: My dream car? This is probably pretty close. Maybe a Porsche, but this is pretty close. I really like this car.
