Deer Park Man Charged With Three Counts Of Burglary
DEER PARK, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) - A Long Island man has been arrested for burglarizing multiple homes over the past two months, Suffolk County Police announced on Monday.
According to police, officers responded on Sunday, April 28 to investigate a burglary at a Dix Hills home that occurred a day earlier. When officers canvassed the area, they came upon James Lovret, 30, and charged him with second degree burglary, police announced.
As the investigation continued, police determined Lovret was responsible for two other burglaries on his block in Deer Park last month, they announced.
Lovret has been charged with two other counts of second degree burglary.
He was held overnight in police custody and was due to appear at First District Court in Central Islip.
