Death Investigation Snags NJ TRANSIT Northeast Corridor Trains
TRENTON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- NJ TRANSIT Northeast Corridor trains were delayed up to an hour during the Monday afternoon rush, as authorities conducted a death investigation on the tracks.
Service on the line was suspended between Metropark and Trenton earlier in the afternoon due to what NJ TRANSIT initially called a "trespasser incident."
Authorities later said it was a death investigation that suspended service. Details were not immediately available.
As of 5 p.m., trains were moving again. But it was expected to take some time before service returned to normal.
