2 Dead, 1 Critically Injured After Fire Rips Through Elmhurst Home
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A fire has claimed the lives of two men and left another critically injured in Queens.
Flames broke out in a home at 42-24 Ithaca St. in Elmhurst around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
Three men were found unconscious and unresponsive after firefighters extinguished the blaze, police said.
Two of the men died. The medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death.
A third victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
