32-Year-Old Man Killed In Shooting At Brooklyn Deli
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 32-year-old man was shot and killed in a Brooklyn deli Tuesday night.
The victim was shot in the chest just before 9:30 p.m. during a fight with another customer inside Deli Grocery & Grill on Remsen Avenue in East Flatbush, 1010 WINS' Glenn Schuck reported.
The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he died, police said.
No employees inside the deli were hurt, but one worker was so shaken up he was taken to a nearby hospital for trauma, Schuck reported.
The shooting has one customer asking why fights now seem to always turn to gun violence so quickly.
"It's sad because it's lives taken away," the customer said. "I know in my heart that if we were to sit down and know what they really were fighting over, what the shootout was about, it would be nonsense."
No arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
