Day After Elections, Gov. Christie Heading To NH
TRENTON, NJ (WCBS 880) - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will be in New Hampshire this afternoon, making two stops on behalf of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

"It's interesting to note that the day after the election, the governor is leaving the state," says Montclair State University political science professor Brigid Harrison.
She says Christie seems to be a nice complement to Romney.
"Many voters find his brash talk and his frankness rather appealing," she told WCBS 880 reporter Peter Haskell.
Harrison says if the two men appear together, Romney does need to worry about being overshadowed.
It's also a tricky situation for Romney because Christie's persona is that of someone who is very authentic, while critics say Romney is inauthentic.
"If you're Mitt Romney, perhaps you don't want to appear side-by-side so frequently with Mr. Christie. You really want to use him as a surrogate rather than having him campaigning with you," Harrison said, adding that Christie will also be helpful in raising money.
Christie endorsed Romney on October 11.
