Cyclist Struck, Killed By Livery Cab In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man on a bicycle was struck and killed early Sunday near Prospect Park in Brooklyn.
The accident happened around 1:15 a.m. on Eastern Parkway, between Underhill and Washington avenues, police said.
The man had been cycling east along Eastern Parkway when he was struck by a livery cab headed in the same direction, police said.
The man was taken to New York Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The livery cab driver remained on the scene. Police did not mention any citations.
The deceased cyclist had not been identified as of Sunday morning.
