CT Republicans Get To Work With Democratic Governor
HARTFORD, CT (WCBS 880) - What's the overall tone of Connecticut Republicans as they get to work with their new Democratic governor, Dan Malloy? Upbeat, says State House GOP leader Larry Cafero.

"We pledge to work with him and cooperate with him and, you know, it's all about Connecticut right now," Cafero told WCBS 880 Connecticut Bureau Chief Fran Schneidau. "It's not about Democrat, Republican, Malloy, or whomever. It's about Connecticut because we're in some tough shape."
In perhaps his strongest inaugural statement, Malloy said the days of political sugar-coating - painting a false rosy picture of Connecticut's finances - are over.
Cafero says Republican lawmakers have been fighting for this change for a long time.
