Susan Bysiewicz is scheduled to formally certify the Nov. 2 elections at her Capitol office on Wednesday morning, a day before the deadline set by state law to do so.
She'll be making official the vote tallies for governor, U.S. senator and representatives, state constitutional officers, state legislators, probate judges and registrars of voters.
This year's top races included Democrat Richard Blumenthal beating Republican Linda McMahon in the race for retiring U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd's seat.
Democrat Dan Malloy barely edged Republican Tom Foley in the race for governor. Bysiewicz's office says Malloy won by about 6,400 votes out of more than 1 million cast. Republican Gov. M. Jodi Rell didn't seek re-election.
