Crash Disrupts Rail Service On 2 NJ TRANSIT Lines
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A truck that hit a power transformer in central New Jersey caused headaches for riders on two NJ TRANSIT lines Wednesday.
Rail service resumed on the Northeast Corridor with residual delays up to 60 minutes. The North Jersey Coast line is operating with 15-minute delays.
Service was suspended Wednesday afternoon in both directions after a flatbed truck flipped over onto the tracks and hit the transformer at a crossing on Route 27 in Iselin.
No injuries were reported.
