Police Nab Suspect Who Slipped Out Of Handcuffs, Fled Queens Hospital
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD said officers have apprehended a prisoner who escaped from police custody in Queens.
At 5:41 p.m. on Friday police said they arrested George Jordan, 36, for petit larceny and resisting arrest.
Jordan was at St. John's Hospital being treated for a prior condition when he freed himself from handcuffs and fled the hospital, police said.
Officers searched for Jordan for more than 24 hours before locating him inside a home at 320 Beach 19th St. in Far Rockaway, Queens.
