Cops Search For Bronx Walgreens Robber

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a man who allegedly robbed a Walgreens pharmacy in the Bronx on Halloween night.

The suspect entered the drug store at 2431 Boston Road in Bronxwood just before 10 p.m., then passed a note to the cashier demanding money while simulating he had a firearm, police said. The cashier handed over $187, and the man fled, according to authorities.

No one was injured.

Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect. He is described as 25 to 35 years old, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing around 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark skull cap, dark jacket and blue jeans.
