Cops: Man Dies After Being Slashed In Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are investigating after a 30-year-old man died from knife wounds early Sunday in Queens.
Just after 2 a.m., police responded to a 911 call about a man lying at the corner of 97th Street and Northern Boulevard in East Elmhurst. Officers found the victim, identified as Fabian Carreno, of Queens, with slashes to his face and neck, police said.
He was pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
