Cops Looking For Suspect In Massapequa CVS Arson
MASSAPEQUA, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police say a man in his late 20s intentionally set fire to a display inside a Long Island pharmacy in September.
Surveillance cameras were rolling in the CVS Store on Broadway in Massapequa when the suspect poured gasoline on a greeting card display and set it on fire.
Store employees quickly extinguished the flames.
There were 30 customers and 10 employees in the store at the time. One worker was taken to a nearby local hospital after suffering respiratory distress.
Police said the suspect fled the store and was last seen on Veteran's Boulevard heading towards Ocean Avenue.
