Cops: L.I. Women Arrested At Toys-R-Us Parking Lot With Drugs, Infant In Car
HOLBROOK, NY (CBSNewYork) -- A Long Island mother was arrested after police say she was seen trying to do drugs in a Toys-R-Us parking lot with her infant son in the back seat of her car.
Cops say they spotted 29-year-old Crystal Webberly of Shirley as she was about to inject herself with heroin Thursday afternoon.
Police say she was parked outside a Toys-R-Us in Holbrook with her 2-month-old son in the back seat.
Webberly was arrested along with a passenger in the car, 26-year-old Jacqueline Dattilo. Both face child endangerment, drug and other charges.
Webberly and Dattilo are both due in court Friday.
Police notified Child Protective Services and the baby was placed in the care of his grandmother.
