Cops: Elderly Brooklyn Woman Dies After Falling From 10th Floor Window
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- Police say an 86-year-old Brooklyn woman was killed after apparently falling out of her 10th floor apartment window.
Police responded to the Ocean Parkway address Tuesday afternoon after receiving a call of an unconscious woman in front of the building.
The victim, identified by police as Lida Arakelyan, was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police say no criminality was suspected.
According to a report, police and witnesses said the woman tumbled out while closing the window of her apartment.
Neighbors said she lived with her husband, daughter and grandchildren.
