Construction Worker Freed After Being Pinned By 7-Ton Hammer In Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A piece of heavy equipment pinned a construction worker in Queens Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at around 10:15 a.m. at 126th Street near 82nd Avenue in Kew Gardens.
The worker's legs were pinned beneath a 7-ton hammer.
Emergency responders managed to extricate the worker and rushed him to Jamaica Hospital in serious condition.
It's not clear what caused the hammer to fall on the worker.
