Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont Issues COVID Vaccine Mandates For State Employees
HARTFORD, Conn. (CBSNewYork) -- Thousands of workers in Connecticut are now facing vaccine mandates.
Gov. Ned Lamont announced Thursday that long-term care and state employees in hospitals will need to get vaccinated.
All other state employees, including teachers grades K-12, will need to get the vaccine or be tested each week.
The mandate starts Sept. 27.
