Coast Guard Searches For Missing L.I. Boater; 2 Others Rescued In Separate Incident
AQUEBOGUE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork/AP) - The Coast Guard continues its search for a sailboat off Long Island after the boater reported it was taking on water.
A Coast Guard cutter was on the water Monday looking for the 26-foot boat.

The Coast Guard said boater Ciro Stellgas, 59, radioed a distress around midday Sunday to say that water was coming into his vessel while it was about three miles north of Jacobs Point. Jacobs Point is in Northville on Long Island's North Fork, near Aquebogue.
The Coast Guard said Stellgas lives in nearby Selden.
The agency is asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 203-468-4401.
Meantime, two Bronx men in a brand new sailboat were rescued Sunday in the Great South Bay near Elder Island in Copiague.
According to Suffolk County Police, Luis Cosme, 39, and Jose Llanos, 46, purchased a 24-foot Tanze sailboat Saturday afternoon and immediately took it out onto the water to sail it to its home port.
The boat ran aground and they were rescued by police nearly 30 hours later.
Both were treated for exposure.
