Coast Guard Rescues 3 After Boat Capsizes Off Sandy Hook
SANDY HOOK, N.J. (CBS 2) -- The Coast Guard raced to save a sailboat crew in serious trouble off the Jersey Shore.
Three boaters had to be plucked from the sea off Sandy Hook Sunday night.
A gust of wind had partially capsized their craft, blowing it right over.
The crew of another boat tossed life jackets to the victims and radioed a distress call to shore.
The two adults and a teenager spent about 15 minutes in the water, but were not hurt.
