Cleanup Continues Following N.J. Flooding
MARGATE, N.J. (CBS 2) -- People in one Jersey Shore town were cleaning up Wednesday, one day after torrential rains and severe flooding.
The sewers couldn't keep up with the heavy downpour and the Town of Margate was left with flooded streets.
Some locals in the popular summer destination said the flooding was the worst they had seen in years.
Residents also said they temporarily lost power, but it was restored by Tuesday evening.
