Clarkstown To Host Meeting For Corridor Project
CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. (WCBS 880) – With the Tappan Zee Bridge-I-287 Corridor Project well on its way, residents will have many questions that will affect the entire community.
That's why the town of Clarkstown and the State DOT are hosting an overview meeting on Tuesday.

"There's a lot that goes into this," Clarkstown supervisor Alex Gromack said.
Residents will need to know how the project will affect the place they call home, he said, and that there are plenty of issues that they plan to address.
"Some of the areas that we're most concerned about: congestion, traffic patterns, new exit ramps, transportation hubs, and quality of life issues of our residential homeowners that may be adjacent to the thruway," Gromack said.
If residents are worried about something, now is the time to speak up.
"We just think they need to be fully informed of both the pros and cons of what this project could mean on their daily lives and their quality of life," Gromack said.
