Town Supervisor Alex Gromack says officers identified 25 specific streets that appear to have the most problems with speeding.

During the first month of Operation Slowdown -- which targeted drivers on Kings Highway, Townline Road, Laurel Road, North Broadway and New Clarkstown Road -- 203 tickets were issued. Each month, police will shif their focus to another set of five roads.

In March, traffic enforcement will be increased on Bardonia Road, Prospect Street, Rose Road, Old Haverstraw Road, and Old Route 304.
