City Urges Those Still Without Heat To Find Alternate Living Arrangements
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - New York City officials are urging New Yorkers still without heat since superstorm Sandy to relocate immediately, and they'll help you find a new place to stay.

"We have been fortunate that the temperatures this fall have been relatively mild, but when the season turns to winter this Friday, it is expected to bring the cold with it," said Mayor Michael Bloomberg in a statement Thursday.
Health Commissioner Dr. Thomas Farley echoed the mayor.
"It'll be very cold this weekend, cold enough that it can be fatal. So, if you're in a house or an apartment without heat, even if you've been able to tough it out for the last six weeks, get out now," he told WCBS 880 reporter Rich Lamb.
He says you should stay with relatives or friends or call 311 and the city will find a warm private place for you stay.
