Cilantro Recalled From Satur Farms In Cutchogue
CUTCHOGUE, NY (WCBS 880) - So far, no one has become sick, but the FDA has recalled 138 pounds of cilantro from Satur Farms in Cutchogue because of possible salmonella contamination.

The cilantro was distributed to six food service customers on Long Island and in New York City.
A spokesperson for the company told WCBS 880 reporter Sophia Hall that 138 pounds is a very small amount and that the cilantro was never put on store shelves.

Further tests on two other lots at Satur Farms turned up negative for salmonella.
Symptoms of salmonella poisoning include fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
