Chinatown Bus Service Issued With Restraining Order
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A Chinatown bus company that was given a cease and desist order by federal authorities has now been issued with a restraining order.

The Department of Transportation says the federal court in Philadelphia issued the restraining order against Double Happyness Travel Inc. because officials say the company is still selling tickets and transporting passengers.

The government shut down Double Happyness last month after deeming it "an imminent hazard.'' Regulators found multiple violations of rules governing hours of service, vehicle maintenance, and drug testing.
But earlier this month, tickets were being sold and passengers were seen waiting for the buses outside the company's East Broadway office. Many travelers had no idea the bus service had been told to stop operating.
Double Happyness runs buses from Albany, N.Y., Baltimore, Md., and Wilmington, Del., to midtown and Chinatown.
