Central Islip Man Arrested In Connection With North Amityville Shooting
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Suffolk County police helped members of the U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey task force arrest a Central Islip man wanted in connection with the shooting of a Copiague man, on Monday.
Rashad Woolridge, 25, allegedly shot Christopher Sawyer, 29, in the leg, hip, and lower back during an incident on Great Neck road in North Amityville in October, according to authorities.
Woolridge was charged with 1st Degree Assault and 1st Degree Criminal Use of a Firearm. His arraignment has been scheduled for November 12.
