Caught On Video: Teen, MTA Bus Driver Get Into Shoving Match In Queens
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A shoving and shouting match between a Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus driver and a teenager in Queens was caught on cellphone video Tuesday morning.
As CBS2's Jessica Schneider reported, the teen had boarded the Q112 bus at Guy R. Brewer Avenue and Jamaica Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens two minutes earlier, telling the bus driver quietly that he did not have the fare.

The driver then allegedly refused to move and started shouting.
"What's wrong with you, kid?" the bus driver is heard on video saying during the physical confrontation.
The driver goes on to say: "I've been here 25 years; you ain't even 25 years old," and: "I feel tough every f***ing day, little boy. You hear me? You hear me?"
A woman who did not want to be identified was on the bus and shot the video on her smartphone.
"The bus driver got in a kid's face, and you can see the kid is trying to back the bus driver off of him, and the bus driver, like, leaned into him more, and they kind of clashed," the woman said.
The MTA issued a statement: "Bus operators are instructed to avoid any type of altercation in cases involving fare evasion. The incident is under investigation."
The rider eventually stopped shooting the scene when she called 911.
"I was just in total shock of what was happening. I was like, I've got to call the cops," she said. "It went on even after my camera had stopped. The bus driver had the kid in a chokehold."
That passenger said the 16-year-old eventually got off, but then threw a garbage can at the bus.
Police arrested the teen, and he was charged with criminal mischief.
