Casey's Call: College Football -- Tuesday's Top 10
1. Boise State (6-0): While Ohio State was busy getting waxed by Wisconsin, Kellen Moore and the Broncos were wiping the turf with San Jose State en route to yet another dominating 48-0 win. Anybody who doesn't have Boise State ranked #1 is lost… This week: Bye
2. Oregon (6-0): The Ducks were enjoying a week off while all of the weekend's madness was taking place. Chip Kelly's group is in the prime position of controlling their own destiny in the BCS title race… This week: UCLA
3. Oklahoma (6-0): The Sooners were appointed by the BCS computers as the #1 team in the land. Make no mistake, Bob Stoops has a phenomenal team – but they are very flawed. I'm putting them here because they're not in the same class as the two teams ranked above… This week: @ Missouri
4. Auburn (7-0): The Tigers won a crazy shootout against Arkansas, beating the dangerous Razorbacks 65-43. The problem for them is that this season is playing out a whole lot like the 2004 season. Although, there sure is a lot of football left to be played… This week: LSU
5. Alabama (6-1): Anybody who has read Casey's Call this season knows exactly how I feel about the Tide. Talent-wise they are the best team in the country by a good margin. We'll find out how costly their loss against South Carolina ends up being, but I don't see them losing another game… This week: @ Tennessee
6. TCU (7-0): A team that very few people are talking about is TCU. However, I'm sure Andy Dalton and company don't mind flying under the radar one bit. This Horned Frog team doesn't care who gets the attention as long as they keep winning… This week: Air Force
7. Michigan State (7-0): In case there was ever any doubt, the Spartans have proven over the past few weeks that they are indeed for real. Between Kirk Cousins, the run game and the dominant defense – this State team will certainly have their say before the Big 10 is decided… This week: @ Northwestern
8. Wisconsin (6-1): Like Alabama, anybody who's read my stuff knows exactly how I feel about the Badgers. They knocked off previously #1 ranked Ohio State and it didn't surprise me one bit. In fact, I predicted it. They are an old school smash-mouth football team. Dominant line play, veteran quarterback, run game and defense. You name it – Wisconsin's got it… This week: @ Iowa
9. LSU (7-0): I've made it clear that I don't like this Tigers team one bit. Despite their perfect record, they're just not that good. I know that's crazy to say about a 7-0 SEC team – but trust me, LSU ain't nothing special. They'll be picked off soon… This week: @ Auburn
10. Utah (6-0): It's just not the record that impresses me – because they don't play the best of competition – it's the team, and the way they play on both sides of the ball. Led by quarterback Jordan Wynn, the Utes are a legitimate power capable of beating nearly anyone… This week: Colorado State
