2 Hurt In Early Morning Fire That Destroyed Home In Carteret, New Jersey
CARTERET, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Two people were airlifted to the hospital after an early morning fire destroyed a home in New Jersey.
The fire broke out around 5 a.m. Thursday at a house on Hagaman Street.
An 88-year-old woman and an 85-year-old man were severely burned in the blaze. Both were flown to Saint Barnabas Hospital by Medevac helicopters.
It's unclear what sparked the fire. The cause is under investigation.
