Carrie Underwood Surprises Kids At Hospital
It seems that Carrie Underwood has a heart made of gold.
The star already demonstrated her generosity by her large donation to benefit the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts, and now she’s taking time out of her busy schedule to make a surprise hospital visit.
Just had a great visit at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia! @ryanseacrest does some amazing work there bringing music and artists in!

The “Two Black Cadillacs” singer visited the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia this week, warming the hearts of many, including that of Ryan Seacrest. His charity, the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, tweeted their gratitude to Carrie, saying:
Wow, @carrieunderwood, thank u 4 such an AMAZING visit at @childrensphila. This is 1 Wednesday the patients will NEVER forget...u rock!

Seacrest created his foundation to inspire ill and injured children to stay positive and to connect with music, which he has learned is a big distraction for families facing difficult obstacles.
“Our foundation’s first initiative is to build broadcast media centers, named Seacrest Studios, in children’s hospitals across the country, allowing for patients to interact with a state-of-the-art radio/TV studio and meet some of the biggest stars in entertainment,” writes Seacrest on his website.
Little did he know just how big a star would be willing to stop by.
