Car Hits Construction Worker In Chain-Reaction Crash On Upper East Side
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A car struck a construction worker and slammed into scaffolding in a chain reaction crash on the Upper East Side.
Police said the red car collided with a cab Saturday morning at Park Avenue and East 85th Street.
The driver lost control and hit a construction worker crossing the street. The car then jumped a curb and slammed into the scaffolding around a church.
Two people were injured, but they're expected to be OK.
