Captain Lawrence Brewing Company Moving From Pleasantville To Elmsford
PLEASANTVILLE, NY (WCBS 880) - If you get your beer from Westchester County, you might notice something different in the near future.
The Captain Lawrence Brewing Company will no longer have Pleasantville, New York stamped on its bottles.
After five and a half years of brewing in the tiny village, owner Scott Vaccaro says they're moving to Elmsford.

"It's only about five miles down the road. So, we're not going very far," Vaccaro tells WCBS 880 reporter Catherine Cioffi.
Vaccaro says they did their best to stay in Pleasantville, but he says they need more space than what's available. The new location in Elmsford has five times the capacity as their spot in Pleasantville.

"The whole reason for the move is so that we could make better quality beer, and we can better serve our customers and make more new and exciting beers," said Vaccaro. "The whole reason I got into this business was to make fresh, exciting beer for the local community and that's why we're making the move."
Captain Lawrence should be in Elmsford by the end of the year.
