Cabbie Claims Gunshots Shattered Cab's Rear Window In Midtown
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- A New York City cab driver is sure that the back window of his cab was shot out.
The driver who identified himself as Omar said that he heard what he claims were gunshots just before glass shattered all over the back of his cab.
Omar hit the gas and sped away following the incident that apparently took place on Broadway between 57th and 58th Streets.
Omar told 1010 WINS reporter Gary Baumgarten that he called the cops but that police refused to look into the incident when they couldn't find a slug.
Police told 1010 WINS that they never received a report of a cab being shot.
