Burst Pipe Leaves 34th Street Uniqlo Store Flooded

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The Uniqlo clothing store on 34th Street was evacuated late Tuesday afternoon, after a broken water pipe left it flooded.

The burst water pipe sent water raining down through the store, at 31 W. 34th St. between Fifth and Sixth avenues near Herald Square, at during the 5 p.m. hour, Joe Biermann reported from Chopper 2.

Shoppers were forced to evacuate, Biermann reported.

There were no reports of any injuries.

Early Tuesday evening, workers were trying to shut off the water and repair the break.
