Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band Will Play At Grammys
Twenty-time Grammy winner Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will play the 54th Annual Grammy Awards February 12th. The show will air on CBS. The Recording Academy announced this morning that Springsteen and company will make the Grammys the first stop on their upcoming Wrecking Ball tour.
The Boss joins a list of Grammy performers this year that includes Paul McCartney, Adele, Foo Fighters, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and Bruno Mars. The Grammys are known for high-profile collaborations and this year will see Coldplay with Rihanna; Glen Campbell and Blake Shelton together with The Band Perry; and Kelly Clarkson will duet with Jason Aldean.
Newly announced stars presenting Grammys this year include actor and recording artist Jack Black, six-time GRAMMY winner and current three-time nominee Fergie, three-time GRAMMY winner and current nominee Amir "?uestlove" Thompson of the Roots, and nine-time Grammy winner Ringo Starr. They join previously announced presenters Dierks Bentley, Drake, Miranda Lambert, and Gwyneth Paltrow.
LL Cool J will be hosting the Grammys for the first time. He's been hosting The Grammy Nominations Concert since it started in 2008. He'll be the first official host in seven years, replacing a system of rotating presenters acting as master of ceremonies. The Grammys will be shown live Sunday February 12th.
