Brooklyn Man Facing Felony Charge For Trying To Cut The Gas Line
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - A Brooklyn mas has been arrested for plotting to cheat and cut the gas line.
Police said that rather than wait in line like everyone else, Milan Nus, 22, attempted to fill up at a reserved lane at the BP gas station in Sheepshead Bay.

Nus told a police officer who was on security duty at the gas station that he was a federal agent and flashed a badge, according to police. But the cop asked a few questions and quickly realized Nus was a fake, 1010 WINS' Carol D'Auria reported.
Nus' demeanor was all wrong and the badge looked fake, according to the officer.
The plan was to cut the line and get on the one reserved for police officers and first responders, which is usually much shorter than the lines for the public.
Nus was arrested and charged with impersonating a public servant, which is a felony.
The odd-even gas rationing implemented for New York City on Friday morning has helped ease gas lines.
Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Thursday that he would be implementing the rationing rule. He said only 25 percent of the city's gas stations are operational. Some are closed because of power outages while others because they aren't able to get fuel delivered.
Those with license plates ending in an odd number are able to buy gas on odd numbered days. Those with license plates ending in an even number can buy gas on even numbered days.
Zero is considered an even number and plates that only have letters, like vanity plates, are considered odd.
People carrying gas cans as well as buses, taxis and limousines, commercial vehicles and emergency vehicles are exempt.
