Brooklyn Jewelry Store Owner Shot During Robbery
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The owner of a Brooklyn jewelry store was shot during a robbery Monday afternoon.
Authorities said the 55-year-old owner of Studio Jewelry in Greenpoint was taken to Bellevue Hospital following the incident, which occurred around 12:45 p.m.
Sonia Rincon, of 1010 WINS, reported that the victim -- Richard Sanocki -- was shot once in the shoulder and is currently in stable condition. He had apparently just returned to work following a vacation.

Sanocki has owned the jewelry store for 17 years. His son, David, says he is expected to make a full recovery.
"He got shot, they robbed the store and they bounced...that's all we know," David Sanocki said.
Police say they are looking for two suspects and say it's unclear how much jewelry was taken from the store. Authorities are currently reviewing surveillance video for clues.
