Police: Teen Throws Rock At Car After Shouting Anti-Semitic Remark At Driver In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police in Brooklyn are searching for a teenage boy in connection with a possible hate crime.
The NYPD has released surveillance video of the suspect, who they said shouted an anti-Semitic remark at a driver and then threw a rock through the car's rear driver's side window.
The incident happened Tuesday afternoon on Nostrand Avenue in Midwood.
The driver was not hurt.
The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident.
The boy is believed to be about 14 years old, 5'6" tall, weighing 130 pounds, with short black hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue T-shirt and black sneakers.
