Police: Woman, 75, Struck By Stray Bullet In The Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 75-year-old woman was struck in the thigh by a stray bullet in the Bronx Friday evening, police said.
Police said the woman was struck in the right thigh around 7:45 p.m. at 1006 Union Ave., near 165th Street, in the Morrisania section of the Bronx.
Police believe two groups were in a quarrel and shots were fired, and the woman was hit by a stray bullet.
The woman was taken to Lincoln Medical Center, police said.
The investigation continued late Friday.
