Bronx Teen Charged In Father's Murder
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 16-year-old Bronx boy has been charged in the brutal slaying of his father.
Ivan James Sr., 40, was found dead Thursday night by his daughter in a bathtub at his on Grand Concourse in University Heights, according to published reports. He had been stabbed 10 times in the head, three times in the face and once in the neck, a police source told the New York Daily News. Police, however, have only said that James suffered head trauma.
Ivan James, the victim's son, has been charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police announced early Sunday morning.

In front of the six-story building where the father and son shared an apartment, neighbors made a memorial with dozens of pictures, flowers, cards and candles, 1010 WINS' Glenn Schuck reported. One picture read, "Rest in peace, Ivan."
Police are still trying to determine a motive for the killing, Schuck reported.
