Bronx Teacher Charged With Slapping Student In Face
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A Bronx schoolteacher was arrested Thursday and charged with slapping a middle school-age student in the face.
Around 4:37 p.m. Thursday, teacher Fatai Okunola, 50, was charged with assault, police said. Police did not specify where he taught.
Police said Okunola slapped a 12-year-old student in the face while in class.
Further information was not available late Thursday.
