VIDEO: Subway Restaurant Worker Goes After Robbery Suspect In The Bronx
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Security cameras captured a worker grab a pipe and chase after a man during a robbery at a Subway Restaurant in the Bronx, police said.
The incident occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 22 at the eatery located at 1047 East 163 St. in the Longwood section.
Surveillance video shows the suspect walking behind the counter and taking cash from the register. A worker then comes after the suspect with some sort of pipe, police said.
The worker was taken to a local hospital and treated for two cuts to his forehead.
Police did not disclose how much money the suspect stole.
