Police: Early Morning Bronx Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, Another Hurt
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- One person was killed and anther injured in a shooting early Thursday morning in the Bronx.
It happened just before 2:30 a.m. on Unionport Road in the Parkchester section.
When officers arrived, they found 23-year-old Daquan Cooper shot in the head and another 35-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to each leg, police said.
Cooper was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
So far, there are no arrests. The investigation is ongoing.
