Handcuffed Man Who Escaped Police In The Bronx Back In Custody
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A 19-year-old man who was handcuffed when he escaped from police in the Bronx Monday night is back in custody.
Police said Narciso Rosario was in custody and cuffed after a traffic stop at the intersection of East 178th Street and Hughes Avenue just after 9:30 p.m. in the Tremont section.
That's when another man, who was also being arrested with Rosario, began to resist, police said.
Rosario fled on foot, running northbound on Hughes Avenue towards East 179th Street.
Rosario was previously arrested in May on a burglary charge.
He was back in custody Tuesday afternoon.
