Bronx Jury Convicts Man In Fatal Subway Shooting
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- A 19-year-old Bronx man has been convicted in a 2007 subway shooting that killed another teenager and injured four others.
The jury on Monday found Robert Denis guilty of manslaughter in the death of 19-year-old Rayquon Story. He was also convicted of assault, attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The August 2007 shooting happened when a dispute between groups of teenagers spiraled into a spray of bullets on a No. 5 train. Story died at the scene. Three survivors, ages 18 to 22, were hospitalized.
Denis faces a maximum sentence of up to 50 years in prison when he is sentenced on March 2.
