Bronx Hit-And-Run Leaves Woman Dead
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle early Saturday in the Parkchester section of the Bronx.
Around 6:04 a.m., police responded to calls of a pedestrian struck at 2070 Westchester Ave. They learned the victim, a 22-year-old woman, had been struck by a vehicle and the driver sped off.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
As of midday Saturday, there were no arrests and the investigation was ongoing.
